The Gift of Jesus

Sunday, August 14, 2011 Led by Eric Gintert Genesis 1:1  -  The name “God” is representative of 1) the father, 2) Jesus, and 3) the Holy Ghost. Just as God is a three part being, so we also are a three part being (spirit, flesh, soul)… we are made in His image.   1 John 5:7  -  the Father, Word, and Holy Ghost are ONE… they make up “God”.   John 1:1-2, 14  -  Jesus is the Word who was made flesh…. In 1 John 5:7, the Word is Jesus.   Romans 1:20-25  -  We’ve changed the glory of God into the image of corruptible man and animals and therefore, we worship the creature more than the Creator. John 6:16-21  -  Those who don’t believe have condemned themselves already… they are evil and hate light. Luke 12:22-34  -  We are greater than all other created things and yet look at how God cares for His other created things. Being greater in God’s eyes, will He not care for us greater than they?
