Sunday, May 13, 2012 Led by Joel Fields 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3 - In the last days there will be (and is now) a falling away or departure from Biblical faith. Jude 3-4 - The gospel is so holy and precious that it must be contended for and protected. 2 Peter 2:1 - The word privily means to "come right along side of" meaning they are bringing damnable heresies in right alongside a little truth... very deceptive. The best lie always has a little bit of truth mixed in to it. Deuteronomy 13:1-3 - The heretics may do miracles and many wonderful things but their doctrine is all wrong. These people are sent by God to see if you love Him with your heart and soul. Notice it says heart and soul, but not mind... loving God intellectually is not enough... we must love Him with all our heart and soul. 2 Peter 2:3 - These deceitful ones make merchandise of you...
