Ephesians 4:32 "forgiving one another" is in present tense; "hath forgiven you" is in past tense. Acts 8:35-37 Philip didn't have to "do" anything; it wasn't about a physical act or performance, all he must do is believe. Romans 6:1-23   Matthew 6:21 says your heart is where your  treasure is. Our heart is our thoughts and feelings. If you heart is one God, why would you want to purposely sin? God forbid. Jesus put sin to death ans sin is put to death in us when we receive His gift of forgiveness. We are not walking in the resurrection when we are dwelling on sin, digging a hole every time we fall instead of turning our eyes back to Jesus. Sunday, July 14, 2013 Led by Eric Gintert Romans 5:1-21 Justified can be understood as saying "just-as-if-I'd" never sinned. Romans 6:1-4 tells us that being justified doesn't give us the liberty to freely sin with no consequence. On the contrary, it poses the question, "why would you want to sin". God forgave sin (singular) : past, present, and future sin. ALL sin! Do you believe God put sin to death? If so, why are you letting sin rule you? The free gift is forgiveness. A gift must be received. Those who let sin overwhelm them have not received the gift of forgivness. God didn't wait for us to be good so that He could die for us... it never would have happened if that were the case. He died for us while we were yet sinners . Enemies (those who are not born again) are reconciled to God in that sin was put to death. Because of Christ's death, sin is no longer what we are judged on. Unbelief is what sends people to eternal damnation. ...

Find out who you are and you'll find out who God is. Genesis 1:26-27 God said "Let us " in " our image" and " our likeness". Why is singular (God) speaking in plural (us & our)? 1 John 5:7 God, as a whole, is 1) The Father, 2) The Word, & 3) The Holy Ghost. Three in one. John 1:1, 14 The Word is Jesus! Most of the time we have a mind to acquire things, but lack the mind to maintain it. The state or condition of our belongings replicates the state or condition of our heart. Matthew 24:13 Those who endure till the end {being diligent to maintain what they have} the same shall be saved. 2 Peter 1:10 We must be diligent to make our calling and election sure. Our spiritual being needs maintenance. Genesis 2:8-9, 15 Adam was called to work, cultivate and protect the garden. We have the same calling for what we have been given on this earth. Sunday, June 16, 2013 Led by Eric Gintert Ephesians 6:1-4 Eli's two sons were provoked to God's wrath because they were not brought up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. They were perverted reprobates! Many fathers don't even sit with there children in church today, being brought up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Instead they are cast off to another room. 1 Timothy 3:1-5 The home is the template for the church. The pastor must be married with children so that he will know how to handle the issues in the church. The duty and responsibility is on the father. Deuteronomy 6:6-7, 10-12 Beware lest ye forget what the Lord has done for you when you were in the house of bondage. Tell your children all the day long of who God is and what He has done for you. Sunday, June 2, 2013 Led by Eric Gintert Genesis 6:1-5 & Genesis 3:1-7 Sin was conceived in their thoughts. In the imagination of the thoughts of their hearts. Eve's thought of doubt led to imaginations she wasn't supposed to have. Satan didn't lie to Eve, she didn't understand the spiritual consequences. Eve chose to go against God. Matthew 4:1-11 Jesus did more than not eat or drink. He forsook His flesh. The first thought was doubt. The same tempter that came to Jesus comes to us daily. Satan wanted Jesus to image the possiblities of what He could do, if  He is the Son of God. Jesus gave Satan the Word back, just like Eve did, but Satan still came back again to tempt. In response to Jesus, Satan responded with a true thing, he did not lie. Jesus continued to fight Satan, Eve didn't. Jesus didn't dwell on the evil imaginations, he clung to His Father.
