What is the reason for going to church? What is the purpose of believers coming together each week in an assembly?
- 1 Corinthians 14:1-40 - the purpose of the assembly is that we be edified, meaning that we would be built up and that we would grow in the faith; ask yourself, "Am I learning how to be a doer of the word and not a hear only?"; "seek that ye excell to the edifying of the church"; prophesying is for believers, prophesying means speaking out of inspiration of God
