John 15:1-5

Eternal life is knowing God, having an intimate personal relationship with Him.
Jesus is the (there's only one) true vine... this means that there are false vines.

Matthew 15:12-14

If God didn't plant it, it will be thrown out. If the Word offends you then you need to examine your eternal salvation.
To abide means to remain. As in a one time relationship you have in marriage.

The branch isn't sweating and trying to bear fruit... it just does. No work involved... it just comes naturally.

Psalm 91:1 &Matthew 6

Dwell in the secret place of God.

John 17:22-23

When the Word is dwelling in your heart, you are one with God.

Philippians 1:9-11

This is our prayer.

Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus This Week: Darkness Sunday, November 4, 2012 Led by Eric Gintert Who is Jesus to You? Savior? What does that mean? Savior from what? Lord? What does that mean? What does it mean to be Lord? We need to be lightened! Psalm 34:1-5 "They" (in verse 5) are the humble who want to exalt the name of the Lord. "Him" is the Lord. They looked unto the Lord and they were lightened and not ashamed. On judgment day, some will look on Him and be ashamed but others will be able to stand before Him completely unashamed and justified.
